FINANCE MANAGER (15 hours per week)
{Vango, Lichfield, Force Ten, Rossignol, UGG Australia}

Based at our Head Office, Port Glasgow and reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are captured accurately and the Senior Management Team are provided with timeous financial information.
Your duties shall include:-
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and analysis
- Monitoring weekly cashflow
- Ensuring that balance sheet accounts are adequately reconciled
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Liaising with auditors
- Completion of the Quarterly VAT return
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Providing ad hoc financial analysis to the management team
- Be a contributing member of the Finance Department, to the benefit of all stakeholders.
This opportunity will appeal to ambitious, outgoing, resourceful self-starters, who shall be able to display a fine attention to detail and possess 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
Your personal attributes, will include excellent communication & social skills, an enthusiastic and outgoing personality, in addition to possessing working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Excel & Word, and
JBA 21 applications.

AMG Group Appoints New PR Co-ordinator

Leading outdoor, snowsport and footwear equipment supplier AMG Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Carys Wynn-Mellor as PR Co-ordinator for the company's outdoor and snowsport division.Â
Carys joins AMG Group from Doncaster Council where she worked as Communications Account Executive and she will now take responsibility for AMG's internal communications and external PR – promoting the brand values of Vango, Force Ten, Lichfield, Trangia, Storm, Wayfayrer, Rossignol and Phoenix .Â

After graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University in PR with French, Carys went on to become a full member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and with over four years' PR experience, she has worked in a variety of sectors for organisations such as Macmillan Cancer Support, Sash UK Ltd and Don Valley Stadium.Â
As a keen outdoor enthusiast, Carys is pleased to be putting her skills to good use in an industry she feels passionate about and she looks forward to further developing her interest in outdoor and snowsport activities throughout her career at AMG. Carys first developed a love for the outdoors as a Duke of Edinburgh's Award participant and then later cultivated an interest in snowsport during her student years in the French Alps.
Following the company's significant growth over the last few years, AMG has separated outdoor and snowsport from footwear to create two divisions - ensuring that specialist attention is given to each area. The new PR post became available after the internal promotion of Gary Craig - former PR Co-ordinator for all AMG brands, who now takes responsibility for the PR and Marketing for AMG's Footwear Division. Gary will look after the company's three exciting footwear brands - Simple, Teva and UGG Austrailia.
AMG group appoints Karol to handle PR
AMG Group has appointed PR agency Karol - part of The Karol Marketing Group - to handle the PR for the company's Vango and Lichfield brands with effect from 16th October 2006.
Both brands will benefit from Karol's experience in not only the outdoor market, but also the national media. Karol has received numerous prestigious industry awards including PR Consultancy Team five times, and were recently appointed PR agency for AMG's leading watersports and lifestyle footwear brand, Teva.
Commenting on the appointment AMG Group Marketing Manager, Clare Murphy said:
“The outdoor market is continuously changing, and therefore it is essential that our brands adapt accordingly. This means looking at the way we communicate our brands to our target markets and reaching out to new markets. PR is a critical part of our overall marketing campaign and it is essential we try to get across Vango's personality, dynamic product offering and values to our existing and new consumers.
“Over a short period of time managing our Teva brand, Karol has quickly recognised the need to broaden the brands reach to meet a new and diverse audience. We therefore had no hesitation in turning to Karol to execute a similar brief for Vango and Lichfield, albeit within a different market sector.
